Schedule Changes

Father Rob will be out of town from May 4-6 for the annual priests' convocation. There will not be Daily Mass on Monday, May 4 or Tuesday, May 5.  Daily Mass will resume on Thursday, May 7.

First Thursday Adoration

We offer extended First Thursday Adoration from 12:45-8pm. Please join us May 7, after the 12:15 Mass, in spending time with Our Lord.

Wedding Anniversary Mass Celebration

Bishop Libasci invites couples celebrating 5, 10,15,20, 25, etc. years of marriage in 2026 to a Mass in celebration of wedding anniversaries. The Mass will be held on

Consecrate Yourself to the Father this Father's Day

Begin your journey to consecration on May 11th.  In this 3rd installment of his 33-day consecration series, Fr. Michael Gaitley has saved the best for last!  33 Days to Greater Glory is a Total Consecration to the Father through Jesus.  It is based on the Gospel of John.  

If interested, purchase your copy of the book from bookseller of your choice and begin daily reflections on May 11th. Contact Cheri' to let her know if you want to also meet weekly to pray & discuss what stood out in the daily reflections.

Help Needed (2 Parishioners)

• One of our parishioners is in need of help in the home.  This would be a perfect opportunity for a high schooler or college student!  She needs 2-3 hours of help a week with basic cleaning and outdoor work.  If this is a job that you might be interested in, contact Teri and she will link you with this lovely parishioner!
• One of our parishioners is looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle to replace a Toyota Sienna minivan that was totaled in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month. Willing to consider anything available, but would prefer something with room for cargo, such as a hatchback, SUV, or perhaps a small pickup truck.  If you can help, please contact Teri.

High School Grad Mass

If you are a high school senior or the proud parent of one, we would love to recognize their hard work at the 10AM mass on Sunday, June 7th (Corrected) followed by a reception in the hall.

Please email Mickayla with your high school senior's first and last name, their picture, and their plans for after graduation (college and major(s), work, armed forces, vocation etc.).

In order to ensure a proper honoring, please submit requested information no later than Monday, May 11th.

High School Senior Scholarship

Each year, the Knights of Columbus Council #10896, here at SJN awards a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student that is going on to further their education.

We are pleased to announce that an anonymous SJN parishioner has come forward and wants to fund an additional $1,000 for our scholarships!  So this year, there will be up to $2,000 available in scholarships from the Knights here at SJN!

Applications are due by Wednesday, May 20, 2026.  The application will be available on the SJN website.  The scholarship will be awarded at our Grad Mass, which will be held on Sunday, June 7 at 10am.

Confirmation/First Communion

• A number of our students will be making their Confirmation and First Communion this month.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Totus Tuus Signups!

• The Parish will once again be hosting Totus Tuus this summer from July 26-31.  It is open to all students currently in Grades K-11. Signups can be done online here.

Religious Ed Signups

• Religious Ed signups are now live on the website.  We offer Religious Education for Grades K-5, the Edge Program for our Middle Schoolers in Grades 6-8 and the Life Teen program for our high school students in Grades 9-12. Signups can be done online here.
  

Young Adult Retreat

Wetlands Cleanup


This is a canoe or kayak paddle to appreciate the wetlands around the church. We'll launch right from the church yard. We'll also clean up any trash that we find in the water - bring gloves, Plan to pull out cans, water bottles, other trash from the water.
Bring your own canoe or kayak or use one provided by the boy scouts.

Family Movie Night - Creation Care
The Creation Care Ministry will be hosting a family movie night.  They will be showing: "I Am Greta"

This documentary follows Greta Thunberg, a teenage climate activist from Sweden, on her international crusade to get people to listen to scientists about the world's environmental problems.

Popcorn will be provided, drinks and candy available for purchase. Discussion will follow. Suitable for ages 13-100.
