The Parish Offices will be closed Tuesday, November 11 for the Veteran's Day Holiday.

The Parish Council is sponsoring a Basket Raffle to benefit the parish.  The drawing will occur Sunday, December 7 at the Breakfast with St. Nick.

Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5 and are available after all Masses.  

Calling all parishioners! We will be singing as a choir for the Solemnity of Christ the King. We will have a rehearsal on Nov. 23rd beginning immediately following the 8am Mass. The choir will then sing for the 10am Mass that day. Whether you have been singing in a choir for years, or this being your first time, it will be a great opportunity to blend our current choir with the parish community and come together for a common purpose as Catholics, prayer through the liturgy and in communal song.

We've decided to provide this opportunity of all-night Adoration twice yearly, once in Advent and once in Lent. First Thursday into First Friday of December was chosen to enable a time of Adoration that could fulfill those devotions. To do this we need at least 2 (preferably 3) people signed up for each hour to ensure our Christ exposed in the Eucharist is never left alone. Therefore, I'm sending out this note this early to ensure we can get every hour covered.  We hope you will be able to spend some quiet time with Christ this Dec 4-5th (12:45pm - 7am).

The Knights of Columbus will be raffling off 10 Turkeys.  Tickets are:

The drawing will be held on Sunday, November 16 after the 10am Mass.

The proceeds will benefit the SJN Food Pantry.

The Seasonal Choir begins practice on Sunday, November 9 at 1:30pm.  Any adult interested in singing in the Christmas choir is welcome!

The Children's Choir will begin practice on Sunday, November 16 at 11am.  Any child interested in singing in the Children's Choir at the 4pm Christmas Eve Mass is welcome to join this group!

Thank you, parish, for "hearing the cry of the earth" and recycling over 1,000 pounds of plastic film so far in 2025! Together, we kept a lot of plastic out of landfills and the ocean.  We also get a free Trex bench made from recycled plastic film. Please continue to bring in your plastic film to recycle. 

We are excited to share that we are starting a bible study called "The Search".  The Search is an innovative video series/book study that tackles the key questions of every human heart. In seven beautifully filmed episodes as well as short book chapters, Chris Stefanick and experts from multiple fields of science, medicine, psychology, art, and religion examine our place in the larger story of existence. Please reach out if you are interested in joining or have any questions, since we will need to buy materials for the study.
