Lenten Fish Bake
The Knights of Columbus will be offering their annual Lenten Fish Bake on Friday, March 22, 2024 beginning at 5pm.
Options:
$15- Fr. Aggie's Baked Fish, Baked Potato and Fresh Vegetable (Gluten free is available upon request-in advance)
$10- Grilled Cheese and French Fries
The Knights will be offering both Eat In and Take Out options. Advance reservation is required for Take Out. Local delivery can also be arranged.
Meals will be available for pickup, starting at 5pm in the Church Hall. To minimize crowding at 5pm, a specific pick-up time will be provided when the reservation is confirmed.

Easter Ham Raffle
The Knights of Columbus will be raffling off 5 Easter Hams. The drawing will be held on March 24, 2024 (Palm Sunday) after the 10am Mass.

15 for $10
Proceeds will benefit the SJN Food Pantry.
Decorating Help Needed
We will be decorating the church for Easter on Holy Saturday at 11am. If you are able to help, please let Teri know. I am hoping that it will take us less than an hour.

Jesus and the Eucharist
Want to grow in your faith and build new relationships with other members of our parish? Well, as part of the Eucharistic Revival we are excited to announce a third and final running of this new small group study, Jesus and the Eucharist. This 7-session study was created specifically for the Year of the Parish Revival. Each group that went through this spoke very highly of it and we believe it will be an excellent opportunity for you to deepen your faith and grow in community with fellow members of the Church. All are welcome to attend. There is no cost and no homework for this course – it just takes you choosing to come and share your time.

Creation Care Update
Thank you! Since January, you have helped us collect 160 pounds of plastic film for recycling! That is 160 pounds that is not in landfills or the ocean. Please keep up the good work!
We do have a request, though. Please do NOT put paper or hard plastic in the bins. Also, we noted that they are often overflowing. Please try to push down the plastic film when you add your contribution.

Yarn Ministry
The SJN Yarn Ministry will meet on Wednesday, March 20, and every other Wednesday thereafter.
It is a social group, for all skill levels, that makes prayer shawls, lap robes, chemo caps, newborn caps, and military scarves. (We gratefully accept yarn donations in the coat room.) We supply yarn, needles/hooks, instructions, and friendship.

Become a 2024 Totus Tuus Missionary!
The Diocese of Manchester is seeking committed Catholic College Students, preferably sophomores or juniors, to serve as Totus Tuus Missionaries this summer. The commitment is from June 5 to August 2, 2024. The first ten days are dedicated to rigorous training to present the Totus Tuus Catholic curriculum, along with prayer, games, song, and witness to elementary age students and high school students in a team setting. Immediately following the training, missionaries from the Diocese of Manchester will travel to the first of six parishes to impart the week-long program. Missionaries will have the week of July 4 off. Room and board are provided by each parish, and a stipend is provided by the diocese.

Assisted Suicide Vote
HB 1283 is a bill pending before the NH Legislature that would legalize assisted suicide. The House of Representatives will vote on this bill March 21. Please call or write to your representatives now to urge them to oppose this bill: gencourt.state.nh.us/house/members
Paschal Mystery Mini-Retreat
On Friday, March 22 at 4pm, the Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua will be hosting a two-hour retreat in the church, to help us prepare to celebrate the Paschal Mystery., the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter. Fr. Anselm, a Benedictine monk from St. Anselm Abbey will talk about what the Paschal Mystery is and answer questions like, what does the Paschal Mystery mean for us in the 21st century? How can we experience the Paschal Mystery and its effects on a day-to-day basis? And, how can we become aware of its presence in our lives in a real way and not just something we know about?
All are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to be transformed and to enter the Holy Week spiritually prepared.
