Scam Alert
Across the diocese, there have been multiple cases of text messages sent to parishioners as well as employees purportedly from the Pastor, asking for assistance and a reply. These have all turned out to be scams. Please do not respond to the text or email in any way, as this will increase the likelihood that you will become a victim of fraud. Fr. Rob would not send you a text message or an email indicating that he needs personal assistance.
If you ever receive something appearing to be from Fr. Rob or any parish employee and have a question about its authenticity, please contact the parish office.
Ministry Fair
The Parish Council will be hosting a Ministry Fair after all Masses the weekend of September 23-24.
Our parish family has many opportunities for everyone to get involved. Help us to continue building our home, our community, and our family.

Evangelium
Evangelium is a slide-based presentation based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It follows the traditional fourfold division of catechetical instruction:
- Creed
- Sacraments
- Commandments
- Christian Prayer
We will be offering Evangelium in the church, immediately following Sunday Masses on the weeks that Children's Ministry is scheduled, allowing us to examine 17 of the 25 topics in the program.

Apple Picking
Youth in Grades 6-12, join us for our annual apple picking-pie making

Meet at St John Neumann & depart for Lavoie's at 4:30pm
Return to SJN for pie making at 6pm
Attention All Youth (6-12)!
We will meet at SJN parking lot at 6:15pm on Friday, Oct. 6th and drive up to the cathedral with members from St Kathryn's (Hudson) for a night of worship and community. Return to SJN parking lot at 9:30pm.
Come on a Great Adventure and study scripture with us!
Tuesdays 6:00-7:30
Beginning October 3
Open to all adults and youth from first grade up.
Cheri Andersen will lead adults in the Great Adventure Bible Timeline Study and high school students while Claire Bryson leads grades 1-8 in God’s Plan in Scripture.
For adults who may not be comfortable driving at night, we will offer a morning group on Fridays at 10:30am. Please contact Cheri', if you would prefer that option.

Jesus and the Eucharist
“Jesus and the Eucharist” is a 7-session study created specifically for the Year of the Parish Revival. This study is free – it just takes you choosing to join your brothers and sisters in Christ to enter into a deeper relationship with our Lord.
To ensure all have a chance to participate in this small group study, we will be offering this series three times – autumn, winter, and spring – and on different days of the week/time of day. For the fall, we will be offering groups:
Mondays: 10:30am-Noon (Oct 9)
Wednesdays: 10:30am-Noon (Oct 4)
Wednesdays: 6:30-8pm (Oct 4)
Thursdays: 5:30-7pm (Oct 5)

Encounter Nights
Encounter Nights are aimed at providing you an opportunity to personally encounter our Lord and Savior in the Blessed Sacrament. We will have Adoration accompanied by praise and worship music and an inspirational talk. Reconciliation will also be available to ensure we can remove all that separates us from God.
Join us for Adoration, Praise, and Worship on Thursday evenings, preceding the First Fridays, 7-8pm.

College Care Packages
Are you in grades 6-12? Then come join us Friday, October 13 from 5:00 PM - 6:30 pm put together care packages for parishioners away at college. Have fun while doing something that will bring joy to another!

RCIA & Adult Confirmation
We are currently beginning preparations for RCIA and Adult Confirmation. We have 2 adults signed up for RCIA and 3 for Adult Confirmation. We would love to welcome more to these programs!

Annual Fun Fall Fest
The Presentation of Mary Academy (PMA) Parent Group is sponsoring its 26th Annual Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, September 23, 2023. As always, we are inviting all local parishes to participate and enjoy some fall fun with us!
All festivities and parking will be at PMA at 182 Lowell Rd in Hudson, NH.
Enjoy a large selection of inflatables, touch-a-truck, mechanical bull ride, obstacle course, petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin painting, tie-dye station, Sisters Fish pond and so much more! Try your luck at our Super Raffle, theme basket raffles, and Yankee raffle sale. Treat yourself to some great fair food and then cool off with some ice cream or satisfy your sweet tooth with our homemade apple crisp or bake sale!

High Sung Mass
We will be having our first High Sung Mass on Sept. 29th at 6:30pm at St. John the Baptist Parish. (10 School St. Allenstown, NH).
Come and experience the beauty and tradition of the Roman Catholic Mass in the Ordinary Form, completely sung, as we celebrate the Feast of the Archangels. Refreshments will follow.

Cathedral Goods Store
The Cathedral Gift Shop is now open! Located in the rectory building at St Joseph Cathedral (145 Lowell St, Manchester), the Gift Shop carries greeting cards, rosaries, crucifixes, sacramental gifts, home goods, children’s items, and books - all faithful to the Catholic teaching. Store hours are: Mon 9-2, Tues 9-2, Wed 9-5:30, Th 9-2, Fr 9-2, Sat 9-3:30. Anyone interested in becoming a gift shop volunteer may complete an application here. Please support our diocesan parishes!
Trinity High School
Trinity High School will host their OPEN HOUSE for 8th Graders on October 19th at 7pm.
All future students in attendance will be entered into a raffle to win $1,000 off tuition.
Our 2023 graduates received over 24 million in merit awards. We offer several options for tuition assistance to assist families.
